For The Shopper
There are many shopping opportunities in the area, here are just a few.
-Waterville Craft Market- Located on the Ring Road just outside Waterville on the way to Caherciveen, features pottery, jewelry, and crystal ware from local artists.
-Cara Turner Ceramics- A favorite with the kids, Cara is a local artist who shows and sells her whimsical ceramics from a studio next to her home. She also takes special orders for one of a kind pieces to be shipped home for you.  Located off the Ring Road between Caherdaniel and Castle Cove, it is only about a 10-minute drive and worth the trip.
-Brushwood Studios- Just outside of Sneem, this family of artists originally from South Africa has been producing art representing different mediums since the 1970s.  It’s hard to leave their gallery without a cup of tea and something for your wall!
-Quills- A chain store in Kenmare, good for souvenirs.
-The White Room- Located in Kenmare, this beautiful little shop specializes in Irish linens, including everything from bed linens to christening gowns as well as antique lace.  They also have an assortment of other decorative items for the home.
-Erin Gift Store- Located in Sneem, this shop has a good selection of woolen goods as well as a selection of gifts.

For The Kids
-Caherdaniel Farmer’s Market- held on summer Fridays from 10:00am-1:00pm.  Kids and adults can all come home with something from this little market.  You can pick up fresh quiches, meat pies, and cakes or take home some cheese from our local cheesemaker to have with your evening cocktails out on the porch.  The local kids sell homemade treats and jewelry for the little ones to choose from.
-Kissane Sheep Farm- Kids will love this farm located near Moll’s Gap between Kenmare and Killarney where they can hold and bottle-feed the lambs, watch the sheep dogs work, and watch a sheep shearing demonstration.
-Skelligs Chocolate Company-located in St. Finian’s Bay, Ballinskelligs, the kids can watch chocolates being made and take some home for a treat!
-Muckross House- see info under sightseeing…kids will especially enjoy the jaunting cars and the traditional farm.
